Merilyn Moos is a retired lecturer and writer.
She was born in Oxford, grew up in Durham, then went to St Anne’s College, University of Oxford where she obtained a degree in PPE, and subsequently an MA in Contemporary Cultural Studies under Stuart Hall. She has lived in London now for over forty years.
She is Ex-Chair of the UCU London Retired Members’ branch and a member of the committee of the Socialist History Society.  She has also always been committed to anti-racist struggles. Her current research is into German working class anti-Nazi resistance.
