Merilyn Moos is a retired lecturer and writer.
She was born in Oxford, grew up in Durham, then went to St Anne’s College, University of Oxford where she obtained a degree in PPE, and subsequently an MA in Contemporary Cultural Studies under Stuart Hall. She has lived in London now for over forty years.
She is Chair of the UCU London Retired Members’ branch.  She has also always been committed to anti-racist struggles. Her current research is into German working class anti-Nazi resistance.
